Foundation clear patients hospital bills
Touched by the rate of suffering in the country, Huncho Foundation under the leadership of a 25 year old student, at the weekend, provided financial assistance to some patients who had difficulty paying their hospital bills and acquiring drugs and supplements to aid their quick recovery.
Speaking to our correspondent, Mr. Zachary Audu Aiji, said he decided to use the occasion of his birthday to make an impact in the lives of ordinary Nigerians in hospitals, who were confronted with one medical and financial challenge or the other.
He explained that his foundation which was aimed at providing assistance whenever an opportunity presents itself, would dedicate all the proceeds from its agriculture business into supporting anyone in need of genuine help.
“When I came back to Nigeria from Turkey few months ago, I saw a lot of people on the street suffering, when I go to hospital I see a lot of people stranded without money to pay their bills and they have problems yet, we have a lot of people in this country who have more than enough to help in one way or the other but they prefer to pile up their money in one corner.
“I told myself if I have the power to assist as little as possible even if it was five people I will do it. I am not asking for anything in return, I just want to make impact in the lives of many people as God gives me the Grace to,” he said.
