The all-sufficient God

Therefore, does not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about its own things? Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. (Matthew 6:34). There are diverse conditions such as famine sometimes pushes us into confusions to whether we can actually receive all things from God.

Certainly, we can if we believe. Remember that it was it not during a severe famine which lasted three years in Israel that God took Elijah used ravens to feed him with bread and meat (I Kings 17:2-6). It is credible that ravens which are tiny birds that feed on filth can feed man with bread and meat.

From where did the ravens get the bread and meat? Of course they were miraculous provision from heaven. The all -sufficient God was at work. This implies that our God can do anything. He can bless us through any means.

And when the brook dried, God took Elijah to Zarephath to be fed by a widow(2 Kings 17: 12). If it seems your source is getting dry, with faith, the allsufficient God can provide for you another source that will never dry. Heavenly Father, feed me, I shall not be hungry any more. Lord, overwhelm me with heaven’s abundant resources in Jesus name.” Dr Olusegun Adeleye (0803301489-SMS only)s is the General Overseer of Christian Overcomer Mission, Akowonjo, Lagos.
