11 persons have been arrested by the Lagos state command of the Nigerian police following a fracas around the Onipanu-Fadeyi axis of the state.
According to the police, the fracas is supremacy battle between two rival National Union of Road Transport Workers. One side is led by Femi and the other side from Alaka is led by one Toba.
Chike Oti, the police PRO in lagos while confirming the news told an online news platform that; “What we have there at Onipanu-Fadeyi axis is supremacy battle between two rival National Union of Road Transport Workers. One side is led by Femi and the other side from Alaka is led by one Toba. The situation is right now under control.
“The place is flooded with policemen; more than enough for that area. The operation is led by the Lagos State Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations DCP Ari Muhammed. 11 arrest has been made. More would be made. There’s no casualty in terms of death”, Oti said.
