‘Liverpool yet to contact Ndidi’

The representative of Super Eagles player Wilfred Ndidi has said English Premier League giants Liverpool are yet to officially approach Leicester City for the services of the midfielder.
Ndidi has been a top target for Liverpool and reports suggested the Reds could pay more than £50 million to secure his services next summer.
”This is not true. Liverpool have not contacted the player nor Leicester City. No bid has been received,” Ndidi’s representative told
In the current season, Ndidi has won the most tackles in the Premier League, averaging 4.2 per game.
The 21-year-old is contracted to Leicester City until the end of the 2021-2022 season.

    If Liverpool were to contact N’didi, it would be an illegal approach. Plus, N’didi has a long contract with no release clause. Plus, Leicester have wealthy owners and are no longer a selling club. Plus, Leicester have won a league title in living memory.
