Stoke City midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo, has declared that he and his colleagues in the Super Eagles will prepare very well for next month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya, because they want to take a step close to the championship in Cameroon.

Etebo said they were all happy to beat Seychelles 3-0 away on Saturday, but admited the job was not done yet, hence their determination to ensure they are fully and adequately prepared to sink the Libyans at home on October 10.

Etebo stated: “It’s an important game, we have won. The turf was really a bad one but thank God we won, we got the points; that is the most important of all.

“Thank God for the victory, we have collected three points. It’s for us to look forward to the next game that is coming up in Nigeria against Libya.”


”For sure, not only me, the entire team, we are going to prepare fully well because we need to qualify. We have not gone for two Nations Cup, so it is very important that we need to qualify.”
