It is on this premise that the patriarch of popular Igbinedion dynasty from Edo State, the Esama of Benin Kingdom, Sir Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion has made it a tradition never to make his birthday anniversary slip by unnoticed. The successful business man has over the years used his birthday anniversary to appreciate his creator, celebrate as well as impact humanity.



According to information reaching us, members of Igbinedion dynasty are already in high spirit ahead of their patriarch’s 84th birthday anniversary that is imminent. The Igbinedion’s from far and near as well as their friends and family have begun to converge in the ancient city of Benin where the event will hold. The anniversary date is actually 11th of September but as usual, it’s designed to be a weeklong event.


The event kicks off on 2nd of September with an intercessory prayer for the House of Igbinedion where all family members are expected to be present. Other activities lined up during the week include giving to the needy, lecture in honour of the celebrant and hosting of different groups among others. A thanksgiving service is also expected to be held on the 9th at St. Gabriel, the Archangel Catholic Church. The grand finale finally which is 11th of September will equally commence with a morning mass at The Family Intercessory Ministries at 6am after which a grand reception will follow.
