Our pupils, our assets at Three Kings Montessori School – Proprietress

The Proprietress of Three Kings Montessori School, Agege, Lagos, Mrs. Maliki Juliana, has explained that the major source of the impressive progress achieved by the school within the short period of its establishment is the love for the pupils, who are the assets of the school. She reiterated that the pupils, who are the cherished assets of the school, are always treated and guided to perfection, as well as imbued with high moral rectitude, discipline and hard work. Mrs. Maliki, who stated this during her speech at this year’s edition of the school’s end of the session party, explained that since 2012, when the school was established, there had been significant successes recorded in the areas of academic performance, as well as competitions and sporting events. The Proprietress said: “I started this school in 2012 with crèche. Today, I am so delighted with the progress we have recorded so far and we give all thanks to God Almighty.

We started with less than 20 students, but now I am proud to say we have more than 100 pupils.” Speaking about the challenges faced by the school, the proprietress noted that like every new projects, the teething problems confronting the school include accommodation, poor response of parents to payment of their children’s school fees, among others.

“But today, we thank God that parents are responding better and they are also getting values for the money they pay. Though, this is a school built on a solid foundation, which is Jesus Christ, every child irrespective of their background, gender, religion, is precious to us because as human beings we are one.

We see the children as God’s gifts to us and we take them as our own biological children. This is a school that provides the best for every child because we put in place the best instructional materials, facilities and enabling learning environment to motivate them to learn.”

The high points of the event attended by several dignitaries including parents, friends and well-wishers as well as owners of other school, were special presentations from the pupils across the various classes and grades to thrill the guests, who expressed delight over the children’s performances. Meanwhile, one of the parents, Mrs. Adeniyi Olushola, who has three children in the school and testified to the excellence of the school, lauded the management for the quality of education and moral upbringing imparted on their children.
