Remi Awode fetes friends, associates at 55 birthday bash

Business partners and associates, family members, friends, leaders and members of the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, traditional rulers and other well-wishers converged on Casso Bus Stop along Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway, Lagos, Head Office of Chemstar Groups, manufacturer of Finecoat and Shield Paints, to celebrate one of their own.

The event was the birthday bash of the inconspicuous, meek and unassuming ‘Paints Czar’, Engr. Aderemi Emmanuel Awode, the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Chemstar Groups, who clocked 55, on September 7, 2018.

The Toyin Robert Auditorium of the paints company, venue of the celebration, festooned with ribbon of different colour, was not only electrifying, but the conviviality was superb as the crème de la crème, who lighted up the occasion took their turn to shower encomium on the energetic and cosmopolitan philanthropist and gentleman.

Before taking to the dancing floor, Awode gave glory to the Almighty God, for the journey so far, which he said had not been rosy, but he owed whatever he is today to God, the author and finisher of his life.

Among the dignitaries at the event include the management of The Polytechnic Ibadan, led by the Rector, Prof. Fawole, who was represented by the Deputy Rector, who said they came to celebrate one of the polytechnic’s alumni, for building and donating a well-equipped multi-million naira Chemistry Department with borehole and other facilities for the institution, and has continued to do more.

It was praise galore as many people, whom Special Apostle Awode, had at one time or the other touched their lives extolled his virtues, describing him as a “friend in need, philanthropist, a cheerful giver,” who is always ready to assist the needy.

The celebration was climaxed on Sunday, September 9, with a thanksgiving service at the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide (Ayo Ni O) Divine Blessing Cathedral, off Joke Ayo, AIT Road, where he fete leaders and members of the church and other guests.
The consummate manager of resources, amazing visionary, a symbol of excellence, philanthropist to the core, and astute industrialist was born in Lagos on September 7, 1963.
