Ikechukwu Uchenna Okpala popularly known as Ikon-X, a young dynamic and creative artiste is gradually carving a niche for himself as one male singer with great potentials. Ikon-X hails from Orumba Isulo, South Local Government of Anambra State. He’s a graduate of Mass Communication from Federal Polytechnic Oko.
The very expressive lyricist and highlife/reggae artiste was born in the early 90’s and started his musical career in 2008; it has been a context of story to glory for Ikon-X.
However, his new single titled ‘Mama Africa’ seems to be what aided him to limelight. The single is massively savouring the airplay with over six thousand downloads on social media.
‘Mama Africa’ has been the fieriest appeal for Nigerian hiphop paramours. With this turnaround his record label, AZ Entertainments had just shot a video for the song produced by Jiggy Jegg and directed by Clinton Ray.
In a chat, the upwardly mobile artiste said: “I am very happy and fulfilled having AZ Entertainments as my record label, my boss Sir Bon Ibekwe is God-sent, he gave me a platform to exhibit my God given talent, all has been rosy and cozy and with these, I am ready to break barriers to have my throne in music industry’’.
Ikon-x has shared and drift on same beat with loads of numerous Nigerian artistes like; Solid Star, Rock Steady, Henry Knight, Mr. 2Kay amongst others.
