Why I’m eying Bauchi Assembly seat – Aspirant

A political aspirant on the platform of the Green Party of Nigeria (GPN), Garba Bala has given reasons why he is contesting for a seat in the Bauchi State House of Assembly to represent the Bauchi South Central Constituency.
According to him, his ambition was made by the people of his constituency who deemed it fit for him to contest from their area with a view to representing them strongly in the House of Assembly and help tackle their social challenges.
“I was called by my people in my constituency and they told me that I should come and represent them in the State House of Assembly, because they believe I will help them tackle the many problems they are facing in the constituency. It is because of this that I have no other option than to contest and work for my people in the Bauchi South Central which is my constituency and where I came from,” Bala said.
He, however, added that the present administration and those representing their people have failed to fulfil their promises adding that there were a lot of areas that still needed to be addressed with a view to bringing succour to them.
Garba Bala also assured that should he get elected he would focus on developmental areas that have direct bearing on people living in the state; like health, water, agriculture, youths and women empowerment, economy and security.
The political aspirant disclosed that although the state government did fulfil its pledge to farmers but assured that his representation in the state assembly will add more bite and will go a long way to improving food production in the state.
