Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, has picked the former Anambra state governor, Peter Obi, as his running mate. Both Atiku and Obi had earlier gone into a closed-door meeting at Mr Atiku’s residence at about 3:30pm today, New Telegraph learnt. Atiku had been endorsed by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, when he met the latter in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, on Thursday.
