2019: APC presents Kalu, Wabara, Nwaogu others to Abia electorate

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Abia State Chapter has presented the party’s National Assembly candidates to electorate in the state following kick-off of the Presidential and the National Assembly (NASS) campaigns nationwide.

The APC, however, called on Abia electorate to rewrite history of ineffective and unproductive representation that had bedeviled the state over the years by voting for men and women with track record of people-oriented projects and programmes.

Presenting the list of National Assembly candidates as published by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to journalists in Aba, Abia APC Publicity Secretary, Comrade Benedict Godson urged Abia electorate to vote in the APC candidates who were already tested and trusted.
Godson said: “It is no longer news that President Muhammadu Buhari remains our only choice for presidency and through his re-election, we shall get a better Nigeria. So, that one is unchangeable choice and the only choice.

“Here in the state, the following names are people we are presenting to Abia electorates as NASS candidates: Chief Dr. Orji Uzor-Kalu for Abia North Senatorial District, Chief Sir Marc Wabara for Abia South Senatorial District and Senator Nkechi Nwaogu for Abia Central Senatorial District.

“In the House of Representatives we have Chief Nnamdi Iro Orji, Ohafia/Arochukwu Federal Constituency, Hon. Nkiru Onyejiocha, Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, Barr. Benjamin Kalu, Bende Federal Constituency, Hon. Ikechukwu Apugo, Umuahia/Ikwuano Federal Constituency.

“Others are, Mrs. Blessing Uwaoma, Isiala North/South Federal Constituency, Hon. Humphrey Azubuike, Obingwa/Osisioma/ Ugwunagbo Federal Constituency, Chief Mascot Uzor-Kalu, Aba North/South Federal Constituency, Surveyor Chinedu Felix Nworgu, Ukwa East/West Federal Constituency.”

“These are our authentic candidates as published by INEC. Anything you see outside this list you have here is not from INEC and is not from our great party led by Hon. Donatus Nwankpa.

“At the state level, Abia should vote someone who will not publish salary payment as governmental achievements. It’s important we vote in a Godsend governor who will not owe workers for any month.

“If Abia wants to move away from this administrative disease where payment of salaries now attract much noise and even as far as demanding to be applauded for giving workers what is rightfully theirs, then Ogah and Azubuike are the panacea.”
