Moments after reports started circulating on social media days ago that his wife had been delivered of triplets, musician and entrepreneur, Yinka Ayefele, swiftly debunked the story on Thursday. Taking to Instagram, the Ekiti State indigene, who is in the United States, at the time of the post, urged his fans and followers to ignore the rumours.
“Fake News, Fake Pictures. That picture was taken 7yrs ago during my younger brother’s naming at music house in Ibadan. Thank you all for wishing me well and I claim it in Jesus name,” he wrote to counter the story.
Before putting a lie to the story, reports indicated that the music star had welcomed a set of triplets in the United States.
Further making it known that there was no truth in the rumours was an email sent to Pulse an online patform by Ayefele’s manager, stating: “We left Nigeria for the United States on Monday. While Yinka Ayefele, his mum and younger brother, Laolu, headed to Maryland to give their mum better medical care. Yinka Ayefele’s wife, Temitope, is holding forth back in Nigeria.”
