School teacher rapes 14-year-old student in Ogun

Police in Ogun State have arrested a secondary school teacher, Azunyere Chima, for allegedly raping his 14-year-old student. The randy teacher, 23, was apprehended on Sunday following a report by the father of the victim (name withheld). The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who confirmed the incident Monday, said the suspect lured the victim to his house. N3.6bn fraud: EFCC re-arraigns ex-NDDC Director, Omatsuli

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Monday re-arraigned a former Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Engineer Tuoyo Omatsuli, over an alleged N3.6 billion fraud at a Federal High Court in Lagos.   Omatsuli was docked alongside Don Parker Properties Ltd, Francis Momoh and Building Associates Ltd before Justice Saliu Saidu on a 52-count amended charge bordering on the alleged offence.
