JUST IN: NCDC announces 339 new Covid-19 cases

  Nigeria has recorded 339 new cases of the coronavirus according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). According to the tweet from the Centre late Thursday, Lagos State recorded 139 of the cases and is followed by Kano and Oyo, which both have 28 cases. The total number of cases in the country has now risen to 7016, with 211 deaths while 1907 patients have been released after recovering from the disease. Man who filmed Arbery shooting video charged in his slaying

  The Georgia man who filmed cellphone video of Ahmaud Arbery’s fatal shooting was arrested Thursday and charged with murder in his death. Lagos discharges 13 more COVID-19 patients

  Lagos state has discharged another 13 COVID-19 patients after successful treatment. The state’s Ministry of Health confirmed this in a tweet via its official handle on Thursday.
