Nigeria records 5 more deaths, 313 new COVID-19 cases

  Nigeria has recorded 313 new cases of the coronavirus disease and five more deaths. This was announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on its Twitter handle on Sunday night. Lagos had 148 of the cases, with the FCT, Rivers and Edo states with 36, 27 and 19 new infections. However, unlike on Saturday when there were no reported deaths, five were reported on Sunday. COVID-19: One dies as FMC Abeokuta confirms three new cases

The management of the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Idi-Aba, Abeokuta, Ogun State has confirmed the death of a 58-year-old patient who had tested positive for coronavirus.
