2023: JNI prays for peaceful election

Apparently concerned by the worsening insecurity ahead of the 2023 general elections, an interdenominational group which goes by the name Jerusalem Nations Intercessors, has set aside two days – Tuesday, January 25 and Tuesday, February 1 to pray for Nigeria.

In a statement signed by Pastor Olumide Oshukeye and Lady Evangelist Adeola Adegoke, on behalf of the group said the twoday event would take place in two centres – Genesis Ministry, 20 Baale Road, Ajuwon, Ifo Locla Government Area, Ogun State and the second at Christ Favour Mountain A. K. A. Orioke Oju rere, Lambe. Also, Pastor Oshunkeye said that the current situation in the country calls for divine intervention.

He said: “We need divine intervention in all our national activities, most importantly the upcoming general elections in 2023, for peaceful conduct of the election and for peace to reign in this nation.

“Enough of bloodshed in this country as we want God to deliver us from violent crime such as kidnapping, herders and farmers’ clashes which has led to famine.

We believe that when we seek God’s face, he would lead us to elect leaders who will enunciate programmes that would lead to economic growth and revival.
