2023: Our mission is to install govt –PDP NWC

The new leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) said its mission is to win the 2023 presidency and ensure that Nigeria becomes a united country.

 

The party, in a statement by National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, said Nigerians have suffered untold hardship under the All Progressives Congress (APC) led Federal Government.

 

“Under the APC, Nigerians continue to experience insecurity ravaging the country, unprecedented unemployment, an economy in shambles, almost collapsing, the naira failing daily, industries are packing up, education standards falling, health sector in comatose, infrastructure decay and stagnation and scaringly disunity and suspicion pervades the country by nepotism and tribalism,”

PDP said in the statement. It assured Nigerians that a PDP government would improve security of lives and property of Nigerians, improve the economy by implementing well thought out policies and programs, as well as pay special attention to infrastructure, especially electricity and rail transport.

 

The PDP described the inauguration of its National Working Committee (NWC) on Friday, as “beginning of a new dawn and the start of a process signaling the exit of the most clueless, most uninformed and most embarrassing regime since independence.

 

“The goal of the new leadership of the party under the National Chairman, Dr. Iyorchia Ayu, is to install a PDP government in 2023 and ensure that our country becomes more united.”

 

The party enjoined Nigerians to be steadfast and vote for the PDP in the 2023 election, “to rescue and rebuild our country Nigeria.”
