Again Bello set host BON in Kogi

Barely two weeks after the successful hosting of the Nigeria Media Merit Award (NMMA), Governor Yahaya Bello, is set to host the 12th edition of the Best of Nollywood Award (BON), in Lokoja, Kogi State.

The 12th edition of the award, which is billed to hold on Saturday, December 11 is set to become the most superlative occasion in the history of BON.
Governor, Yahaya Bello had since promised to host stars, guests and other industry professionals in a show like no other.
As part of the activities leading up to the annual, travelling, film industry awards;  the organisers have announced plans to specially recognise individuals and organisations that have contributed immensely to the growth of Nollywood.
According to the organisers, the recipients for special recognition awards include Abiola Atanda, popularly known as ‘Madam Kofo’, Africa Magic and the late movie industry titan, Chico Ejiro.
A statement signed by the Founder of the Pan-Nigerian Best of Nollywood Awards, Mr Seun Oloketuyi and made available to journalists, on Monday, noted that “it is important to celebrate our known and recognised industry icons.”
All arrangements to ensure a successful event, have already been put in place.
