Amotekun begins identification, vehicle search in Ondo

Ondo State Security Network Agency, Amotekun Corps, yesterday launched its personal identification exercise in the state as part of measures to curb insecurity during the Yuletide.

 

The corps also said as part of the exercise, its operatives would also be embarking on a massive search of vehicles across the state.

 

According to the Commander of the Corps in the state, Chief Adetunji Adeleye, the exercise which was designed to ensure maximum security would be carried out alongside other security agencies.

 

While stating that the exercise commenced yesterday, November 6, Adeleye said the aim was to ensure improved security in the state and as well ensure safety among residents.

 

He added that the move became imperative due to intelligence reports at the disposal of the corps
