‘Anambra has hope for a total rebuild with Okwuosa’

Hon Azuka Okwuosa has proven to be the better fit for the governorship of Anambra State ahead of the November 6, 2021, gubernatorial election.

In an interview recently, Okwuosa, an ideologist and a great activist, stated that Anambra does not need immature billionaires as governor, but rather a governor who has the people’s interests at heart.

Hon Azuka Okwuosa, who was a former commissioner of works and transport in the state, said: “Anyone aspiring to be the next governor of Anambra State must have the capacity to build wealth and political skills. He bemoaned the lack of such qualities in Anambra State’s political leadership over the last two decades. In his words: “We hardly saw people with a mixture of both and this is the problem, any administration that takes over Anambra State without prior experience would fail.”

The next governor must have a sustainable source of income and have had the opportunity to receive political tutelage, of which I was privileged to, due to my association with Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.”

“Having passed through local government and statehouse, being in party politics, building up a political formation, and being active in Ojukwu’s presidential campaign, I wear the shoes and know where it pinches,” he says. All of these will allow someone like me to succeed as a governor, and I’m going there to solve problems, not to learn about them,” he added.

Hon Okwuosa emphasized that he could not have accomplished such a feat without the mentorship of Dim Ojukwu (Ikemba Nnewi), whom he served, learned from, and followed until his death, thus detailing his rise and stewardship as a former local government Chairman of old Nnewi Local Government Area and former commissioner in the state under Dr. Mbadinuju.
Hon Okwuosa claims that Ojukwu left an indestructible legacy.

He expressed his desire, readiness and determination to lead the state, which he claims has been tainted by the current administration. He bemoaned what he described as the state’s negative impact of the All-Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) government’s bad administration and its influence on the state’s downward trend in growth.

He insisted that Anambra needs a home-grown and seasoned politician who is well-versed in the state and lives among the people which makes him the perfect aspirant to lead the people of Anambra.

With his vast knowledge of political leadership and his track record of delivering the best, it is clear that Hon Okwuosa is the ideal candidate to restore Anambra’s greatness. He has proven to be a man for the people who is concerned about the state’s development and growth.

He is a ray of hope for the long-suffering members of the APC in Anambra state, as he has demonstrated honesty and competence over time. A man with no enemies among the warring leaders of the party in the state.

When you see Hon. Sir Azuka Okwuosa, you see power, trust, and courage; he gives speeches without a script or prepared papers, indicating that he has a business mind.
