APC backs Matawalle’s fight against banditry

Newly elected leaders of Zamfara State All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara have pledged their support for Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle’s fight against banditry, kidnapping and other security challenges facing the state.

 

Spokesman for the party Alhaji Yusuf Idris Gusau told newsmen in Birnin Kebbi that the APC leadership headed by Alhaji Tukur Umar Danfulani would also ensure a second term for Matawalle.

 

He commended the governor for his contribution to the development of the state despite security issues. According to Gusau, subsequent governments will find it less difficult administering the state since the Matawalle government has done a lot.

 

Gusau said the cargo airport project, road construction/ rehabilitation and provision of social services would benefit the people in the area of employment.
