CAN to Nigerians: Be hopeful no matter the situation

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has enjoined Nigerians to the hopeful no matter what they are passing through. CAN President Dr. Samson Ayokunle, in his Christmas message, expressed hope that God can turn every bad situation around for good “because he can do all things. He is our Waymaker and he would make way for us in the name of Jesus.” Ayokunle noted that Nigerians are experiencing kidnapping, killings, destruction of facilities and insurgency, but said they should remember that part of the purposes of the birth of Jesus Christ is to give hope to the hopeless and deliver people from sin. “He came to set the captives free,” the CAN President added. He urged the people to embrace the love of Jesus Christ irrespective of religious, ethnic and political differences.
