The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Monday Igbuya, has been impeached some online news portals are reporting. Igbuya was impeached on Thursday morning. According to the reports, Igbuya’s impeachment was reportedly signed by 22 out of the 29 members of the House. Igbuya has since been replaced with the lawmaker representing Okpe Constituency, Sheriff Oborevwori. The reason for Igbuya’s impeachment could not be ascertained.
