DJ Neptune set to drop second album

DJ Neptune has announced the advent of Greatness 2.0, his second studio album. The Nigerian, disc jockey shared the album art to the forthcoming project via Twitter on Wednesday. He also revealed that the project would be released on November 26. His forthcoming body of work comes as a follow-up to ‘Greatness’, his debut album released in 2018. Over the course of his music career, Neptune has established his brand as one to reckon with. His works span hip hop, Afrobeats, Funky House, Dancehall, R&B, among other music genres. He had started entertaining friends and neighbors at the age of 10. Neptune would later develop an interest in music while in school after watching several online DJ tutorials. He became a professional DJ back in 2001 and was hired by Ray Power 100.5 FM Lagos. There, he worked as an in-house DJ from 2004 to 2010. In 2008, Naeto C, a rapper, had signed DJ Neptune as his official Disc Jockey/Hype man. DJ Neptune is known for tracks like ‘Tomorrow’; ‘Demo’ with Davido; ‘1,2,3’ with M.I Abaga and late Da Grin; ‘So Nice’ featuring Davido and Del B; ‘Wait’ with Kizz Daniel, among others.
