Dr. Mailafiya quits NIPSS

The former presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the 2019 General Elections and former deputy governor of the Central Bank of Ngeria (CBN), Dr Obadiah Mailafia has resigned his appointment with the National institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos Plateau State
Until now, Dr. Obadiah was a directing staff at NIPSS which is a think tank institution in the country.

NBA Chairman in Plateau State, who is also Dr. Mailafiya’s lawyer, Barr. Yakubu Bawa confirmed to New Telegraph in Jos on Tuesday that the former Deputy Governor of CBN had resigned his appointment since last week and the National Institute had accepted his resignation.

New telegraph learnt that Mailafiya’s resgination may not be unconnected with the comments he made about the insecurity and killings in Southern Kaduna State earlier this month.
