Fidelity Bank raises stake in customer rewards

As part of its resolve to boost savings culture and promote the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) financial inclusion, Fidelity Bank Plc has rewarded six customers with the sum of N9 million in the bank’s seventh edition of ‘Get Alert in Million Promo draws held in various regions of the country. Aside the cash prizes, the bank also showered 12 other customers with various consolation prizes.

The six customers that were rewarded with cash prizes were Emmanuel Omeje from Minna Branch, Niger State, North that won N2 million, Simon Izuchukwu, Idumota Branch, Lagos, N3 million, Adams Jamiu, Iwo banch, N1 million, South/West, Amarachi Okwu, Agbani, Enugu Branch, South/East, N1 million, Ndor Eunice, Sapele Branch, South/South, N1 million and Shedrach Ovat, Secretariat Branch, Abuja, N1 million, The Executive Director Products and Shared Services, Chijioke Ugochukwu noted the promo is the bank’s commitment to promote the culture of savings which would ultimately bolster the economy.

She added that there is a correlation between savings and economic development. “Savings serve as a veritable instrument for capital mobilisation to finance aggregate investment required for economic growth.

As an active participant in the Nigerian economy, we are supporting the federal government by making savings available for critical infrastructure deployments that would aid socio-economic development.

“In spite of the tough times, savings is very important and Fidelity Bank will not relent in its efforts to improve the standard of living of customers,” she said. She noted that with the seventh edition of the reward the bank has given a total of N74 million in cash and it is still counting. “We still have a total cash of N31 million that are to be won,” she said..

The Star Prize winner, Mr. Simon Izuchukwu who won N3 million in Lagos area commended the bank for its effort in empowerment and called on the more existing and new customers to key into the promo that was transparent.

“I want to encourage both the existing and new customers of the bank to key into the promo. God has used this bank to change my life and try by his grace to invest it judiciously,” he said. For Izuchukwu, three million naira winner in the draw marked a big step in his journey to fulfiling his dream.
