Fintiri, rare son of Adamawa, says Bamanga Tukur

A former governor of the defunct Gongola State, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, yesterday said he believes in the capacity of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, to lead the party to a successful national convention. Tukur, a one-time National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), noted that given Fintiri’s developmental revolution in Adamawa and his great leadership qualities, he has no doubt in his capacity to deliver a hitch-free national convention. Applauding the party’s choice of a convention chairman in him, the elder statesman added that Fintiri symbolises the true Nigerian leader that the nation needs and Adamawa State is proud to have him as governor. A statement by Fintiri’s Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Humwashi Wonoshikou, described the governor as a rare son of the state and urged the governor to go out there and make the difference in the October 30 national convention.
