Focus and consistency have been touted as qualities that are common to businesses that survive against all odds. This is according to Oladeebo Olanrewaju Ismail, a serial entrepreneur and leading realtor in the Lagos property market, who made the assertion while speaking on his live Instagram chat, @iam_natthy_gas.
Oladeedo, the MD and CEO of Natty CTS Agency, said it is possible for an entrepreneur to have multiple interests if he can remain focused and be consistent in delivering services in the different sectors in which he operates.
According to him: “Natty CTS Agency is not a mono-product or service company. Many people know the company for real estate; yes, that is an aspect of our services that is prominent. We do other things. For instance, we distribute products like Kolaq Bitters of which Natty CTS is a major distributor; we are an independent marketer for oil and gas. I am also a beautician because I own a spa, Natty Spa and Lounge, for facials and massage.”
Citing the likes of economist and Chairman of UBA Tony Elumelu and Wale Tinubu as his business role models, the Natty CTS Agency CEO, who earlier in the year bagged a Master’s in International Business, explained that the environment where an individual grew up can influence his or her decision to become an entrepreneur.
“I was born into a business family and I think that further drives my passion for entrepreneurship.”
Noting that “once an entrepreneur, always an entrepreneur,” he avowed that is not yet done with founding other start-ups.
“I am presently thinking of setting up a music label because it is a business that is booming,” he declared.
