I’ve learnt a lot from my role model Swag Omoluabi – Blogger Haryokunmi

 

Up-coming Nigerian blogger, Oyebamiji Jamiu Ayokunmi, who is fondly called ‘Haryokunmi’, has described seasoned entrepreneur and brand influencer, Ipadeola Abiodun Oriyomi a.k.a. Swag Omoluabi as a source of inspiration to him.

Haryokunim, a graduate of the Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State, said he sees Swag Omoluabi as a role model because of his rare and exemplary qualities.

“Swag Omoluabi is one of my mentors and role models; this is because I have learnt a lot from him. He has been a source of influence and inspiration,” Haryokunmi told journalists during a recent interview.

Just as his mentor has Swag Omoluabi Blog, so also is Haryokunmi, who is operating a blog which has since taken over the cyberspace in Nigeria with interesting contents. It is a sought-after blog that has indeed carve a niche for itself.

The Lagos State-born blogger revealed that being a successful blogger does not come so easily as there are some challenges which he faced, but he was able to overcome them through hard work and focus.

“Though, there were initial challenges of how to create my own blog and how to reach out to a lot of people, I was able to get over these. I ensured that I did not give up even if the road was rough.”

According to Haryokunmi, the process of building a formidable blog in Nigeria today is not a tea-party thing, adding: “I developed my skill by making my blog my own, brushing the basics, keeping it conversational, filtering my contents and keeping the readers in mind at all time.”

He said the hallmark of a successful business is what the entrepreneur put into such business through hard work.

“With advance skills and efforts, a business will be prospering,” said Haryokunmi

Before he ventured into blogging, Haryokunmi was a successful young man in the business of aluminum building and construction.

“In 2017, I found myself in this dream to become a blogger because it made my imagination run wild to plan the perfect service. Since the day I started as a blogger, I have never looked back for any regret at all,” he said.

Haryokunmi  said that he could count himself lucky as someone God has given the opportunity of doing what he enjoys most.

“So what I enjoy most as a blogger is promoting and being creative, while he has been able to stand out in the public and reach out to people’s awareness.”

As a young man, who comes from a family that shows and speaks a lot about religion, Hayorkunmi ensured that the tenets of the religious speak volume in his life and has let them be the guiding principles to live a comfortable life.

Haryokunmi plans to have a foundation that will be doing philanthropic activities to help the poor and the needy in the Nigerian society someday.

“I will have this foundation to give back to the society by identifying with the masses and less privileged.

“So, my plan is to create a foundation to help people in my own capacity because it is one of those things one can o to pay back to the society,” said Haryokunmi.
