Lawyer laments poor reading culture among students

A legal practitioner, Mrs Moji Okeya, has decried poor reading culture among students. She therefore called on all levels of government to ensure that all schools have well-equipped libraries to encourage reading culture. Okeya spoke during a cash presentation to some students of Ise/Emure Secondary Schools at Ise Orun local government area of Ekiti State. The beneficiaries are the students who had participated in the reading competition organised by her. She said, “Reading culture is fading among students, this is something that bothers me as well and it is one of the reasons I have been trying to do the little I can in my corner to fix the situation.”
