Moral decadence: Church hasn’t fail in its responsibility – C&S

Against the backdrop of rising level of indiscipline, loss of values and moral decadence in the society, especially among the younger ones, the leadership of the Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, Yaba District Headquarters (Ogo Serafu), Ijeshatedo, Lagos, has said the church has not failed in performing its roles and responsibilities. But the home and parents, who have a lot to do about the upbringing of their children and wards, should be blamed and not the church or the entire Christendom. This was disclosed by the Chairman of the church’s 50th Anniversary Committee and Chairman, Church Building Committee, Mr. Samuel Oluyinka Sogunro, during a press conference organised for the 50th anniversaryof thechurch, theclimax of which will be the dedication of a new cathedral and the50thharvestthanksgiving. Sogunro, a former rector of Lagos State Polytechnic (LASPOTECH), said the church, whichwasfoundedin 1970 at a small shop by late Senior Apostle Aderibigbe Ajijolaoluwa, today has an ultramodern church auditorium, which was built through the effort of its members
