Palazzo jumpsuits again?

Yes, it has been predicted by style caster that wide-leg, loosefitting, flowing jumpsuits that were extremely popular back in the ’60s and ’70s will have a huge view this year. Palazzo jumpsuits are cute and trendy, but they are not exactly the easiest things to wear.

Getting the correct length is tricky, choosing the right fit is crucial, and not to even talk about how they leave you fully naked when you need to use the bathroom. Well, don’t let that intimidate you from wearing a head-to-toe, all-in-one garment.

Consider it a small price to pay for a chic alternative to the usual dresses, a quick pick-me-up to your Tshirt- and-jeans routine, and a fabulous way to get on a trend that’s hot both on and off the red carpet this year. Palazzo jumpsuits have been big in a way.

It’s almost impossible to open a fashion magazine, go to a fashion blogs or even check out what your favourite celebrity fashionista is wearing without seeing at least one fabulous outfit that includes palazzo jumpsuits in a glamour, yet completely effortless outfit.

Some women often shy away from these style of jumpsuits as they feel the legs are too wide or have no curves at all! Regardless of your stature and figure, this style of jumpsuits will suit every woman if they stick to a few simple style tips.

Everywhere you look, palazzo pants and jumpsuits are making loud style statement . You see them on the street, at a party, at the beach, in the office and even at weddings. Hugely popular in the 60s and 70s, it’s easy to see why everyone loves them now.

They’re stylish, comfortable, and above all super versatile.

zz Avoid casual jumpsuits that are too loose that they may end up making you look frumpy and shapeless.

zz Break a jumpsuit’s monochromatic, straight-up-and-down line and define your waist with a belt. You  can cinch it at your natural waistline.

zz Try the classic look of palazzo jumpsuits and ankara. Colourful ankara seems to be the most complimentary  material to pair with this sophisticated wear.

zz Make sure your palazzo jumpsuits are the right leg length for you. The biggest mistake with these  items of clothing is that women wear them too long or too short. They must fit your leg and cover the  heel considerably for the desired look.

zz Wear the right waist fitting for your shape. Palazzo pants are wide from the thigh all the way to the  ankle so the fitting element must come from the waistband.

zz Ensure that your band flatters your frame rather than divulges it.

zz Don’t mix patterns with palazzo pants as there is so much excess material. Mixing pattern has been  on trend recently but not for this type of outfit. It just looks messy. Pair solid palazzo pants with a  patterned top or vice versa. You can even pair solid color with solid colour.

zz Palazzo pants are designed to give a long elegant leg to your body. So, choose your footwear carefully.  Although some daring souls have worn palazzo pants with sandals (and they often have the superior  pins for it) — we will recommend a form of heel. Nothing that could get caught in the hem though.

zz Finally, wear what ultimately suits you and your personal style. If you like floral, pick a bright floral   pattern. If you prefer a more professional look — pair with a blazer and silk singlet. Have fun and try  something a little different but if you feel uncomfortable, you will look it and trust me, these pants will  make you look a million dollars if you are confident in your choice of ensemble.
