Murder: Businessman narrates how Chidimna sold late Ataga’s MacBook laptop to him

A Lagos High Court, sitting at Tafa Balewa Square, TBS, Thursday heard how a murder suspect, Chidinma Ojukwu, sold an Apple MacBook Laptop of the late Super TV Chief Executive Officer, Usifo Ataga, to a businessman, Ifeoluwa Oluwo, in Lagos.
The businessman, who testified as the third prosecution witness (PW3), said that he bought the laptop from Chidimna, a 300-level Mass Communication student of the University of Lagos, for the sum of N495,000, on June 18, 2021 (two days after the body of Ataga was found at a short service apartment in Lekki).
Ojukwu is standing trial alongside her sister, Chioma Egbuchu, and one Adedapo Quadri for allegedly killing the Super TV CEO.
The witness, while led in evidence by the prosecuting counsel, Mr Yusuf Sule, said that he saw her (defendant) face on social media regarding a murder case closely linked to her, after the sale of the laptop.
He told the court that the name (Chidimna) was very familiar to the customer he had done business with earlier, so he ensured that all her documents were kept handy.
According to the witness: “I deal in the sales of phones, laptops and accessories at Computer Village, and have been in the business for five years.”
Identifying the first defendant (Chidinma), the witness said that she was a customer, who made a purchase of a phone on April 30, 2021 and also made a sale of her laptop on June 18, 2021, at the same office.
