Nigerian Navy tasks officers on good conduct

The Nigerian Navy has tasked its personnel on good conduct, warning that any personnel found culpable of economic sabotage will be dealt with. The Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Awwal Zubairu Gambo gave this charged yesterday in Yenagoa during the commissioning of some completed projects at the central naval command. According to him, any officer found wanting will be brought to book and used as an example for others to learn. He said: “I have just briefed the FOC of the Naval and the defense head-quarters of making sure that any personnel that is found culpable of economic sabotage of our country should be brought to book and be used as an example. Congratulating the command for achieving such a feat, he also expressed appreciation to NNS Soroh, wishing them God’s speed and more success in their endeavours. The Chief of Naval Staff then proceeded to commission the mast island, the regulating office and other projects. Earlier, the flag Officer Commanding, Central Naval Command, Rear Admiral Obinwanne Egbuchulam, had expressed gratitude to the Chief of Naval Staff for visiting the command.
