The last has definitely not been heard of ‘COZAGATE’ involving Busola, the wife of a famous singer, Timi Dakolo and the fashion-savvy cleric, Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, despite that the suit filed by the Dakolos was dismissed on November 14, 2019.
While there’s a subsisting dismissal from the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Court 12, sitting at Bwari, Abuja, the case filed by Busola Dakolo against Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) was dismissed and the court also awarded costs of N1,000,000 against Busola Dakolo’s counsel and held that the fine should have been 10 times more because the court’s time was wasted.
It’s becoming even more damning now that Timi Dakolo is saying there’s hardly any difference between Fatoyinbo and Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo.
He said this in a Tweet with Laila Ijeoma where he alleged that in the heat of the rape case, Ashimolowo flew to Nigeria to see him and also reached out to those who could arrange a meeting with him. He said at last, the meeting held.
He further proved his claim, he said he still had the WhatsApp conversation that ensued between him and the respected pastor.
There’s also a video of Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo defending Fatoyinbo and claiming he has God’s true calling- ‘’he did not gate-crash.” Ashimolowo in the said video had also said that Biodun Fatoyinbo was called by God.
“You would be the one to beg him in the end because God will always fight for him”- Ashimolowo had said while praying at COZA. But still on the matter, Laila Ijeoma’s conversation with Timi Dakolo would later show what the singer holds of most men of God in Nigeria, especially Pastor Ashimolowo who once intervened in the matter and had thrown his weight behind Fatoyinbo.
Timi Dakolo’s words read in part: “Last year he was calling the whole world to see me. Even though I didn’t mention anybody’s name, he flew in from london.Everybody that had my number was calling and we had the meeting, Meanwhile NA them them. God have really suffered. WhatsApp convo Dey.”
You’d also recall that on December 31, 2019, before the crossover service, Timi Dakolo had also taken to his Instagram page to say, “In 2020, invest your money, God wishes above all things that his children prosper. Don’t let anyone stand on the pulpit to cajole or manipulate you this night or any other day for that matter… God’s blessing is not for sale, invest and develop yourself.” Months ago, Timi Dakolo jetted out of Nigeria for the UK where he has been doing music professionally
