Only youths with creative capabilities can survive adversities – Swag Omoluabi

The advent of the economic recession in the country, has brought many Nigerians to their knees owing to paucity and.lack of money to make ends meet.

The challenge, however, is that people have to think outside the box in order to meet up and survive the unexpected downturn in fortunes that recession came with.

But Ipadeola Abiodun Oriyomi, a rising Nigerian entrepreneur, who is popularly called Swag Omoluabi, wants teeming Nigerian youths not to be left behind with the fast way the world is moving.

To the CEO of Swag Omoluabi Logistics, the youths in the country, most especially the unemployed, must invest heavily in their creative abilities so they can be gainfully engaged and self-sustaining.

The accounting graduate of the Lagos State Polytechnic told reporters in an interview  that the prevailing economic downturn being experienced in Nigeria, the largest black nation in the world today, should not be a barrier for the youths to maximize their potentials, hence the call for them to tap into their creative minds to fashion out the best way to survive especially during these hard times or trying situations.

In the exact words of Swag Omuluabi: “Notwithstanding the high rate of unemployment in the country, personal creativity and thinking outside the box are necessary ingredients for youths desirous of a change in fortunes to get out of the holes that economic recession has brought on millions of Nigerians.

“Now, in this modern life, the new media has taken a different approach, the internet houses billions of blogs and websites, and with the economy recession that has made many companies to go under while others have shed their staff number, I strongly believe that this is a big opportunity for the unemployed youths to tap into thei opportunities that new media presents.

“They must take advantage of it. No matter the society you live in, you can still experience a major breakthrough in our present diversified business environment,”added Swag Omoluabi, the chartered accountant turned blogger.

To Swag Omoluabi, opportunities can come through socialization and networking which he believes can help sharpen youths creative endeavours, adding that: “One’s lifestyle, background, traditions, social interaction go a long way to determine how far one  will go in achieving set goals and objectives and fulfill life expectations.”

Swag Omoluabi also enjoined the growing army of youths that they should not forget the ladder they climb to the heights of success in life, adding that giving back to the society that made them is very important.

“The philosophy behind this is that our youths must learn to invest in other people even as they climb through ladder of success. By doing this, such youths are sure of finding people who would watch their back at any given time,  whether good or bad,” Swag Omoluabi said.
