Recovery of your stolen destiny (3)

Pastor Segun Adewum

Last week, we discussed how believers lose power of Prayer and become vulnerable to the attack of the enemy. We illustrated this with the capture of the Ark of Covenant by the Philistines.

We also explained how the presence of the Ark destroyed Dagon the god of the Philistines and also caused the death of hundreds of Philistine through the affliction of pile. The Philistine finally returned the Ark to Israel with a sin offering of gold. Every spiritual power stolen from you will be fully returned and restored back to you in Jesus name.

Today, we shall address (the throne) your destined position in life which has been stolen. We are aware that Esau lost his birthright to his brother Jacob and never recovered it up till today.

But as for you, your lost glory will be fully restored. Our prayer point is in 1King chapter 1. King David had promised that Solomon will reign after him. But Adonijah, one of the King’s sons made himself King when it was obvious that King David would die. Another example is that of Vashti, the wife of King Ahasuerus who was removed and replaced with humble Esther because God had ordained her to be the King’s wife for the purpose of the fulfillment of the prophecy of Moses against the Amalekites.

“For he said, Because the Lord hath sworn that the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation. Exodus 17:16 Prophet Nathan called the attention of Bathsheba to what Adonijah has done they both planned how to get the King to reverse the situation. King David actually instructed as follows “The king also said unto them, Take with you the servants of your lord, and cause Solomon my son to ride upon mine own mule, and bring him down to Gihon: And let Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint him there king over Israel: and blow ye with the trumpet, and say, God save king Solomon. Then ye shall come up after him, that he may come and sit upon my throne; for he shall be king in my stead: and I have appointed him to be ruler over Israel and over Judah.

And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king, and said, Amen: the Lord God of my lord the king say so too -1King 1:33-36. With this message, your stolen destiny will be fully restored. Your position at work, in your family, in the society which has been usurped will be released to you. David was underrated and was not called when Samuel requested Jesse to present his sons for the future King of Israel but God insisted that he “David” was destined for the throne and was so anointed in the manner of the book of Isaiah 62:1 “For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.”

Just as Jacob became Israel, David the herdsmen and fugitive became David the King. Same as Joseph the slave and prisoner became Joseph the Prime Minister. You will be called by a new name in year 2020.

“Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah: for the Lord delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married” -Isaiah 62:4.
