An African proverb has it that he who wakes up and finds himself a success hasn’t been asleep. Adedoyin Ayomide Samuel, popularly referred to as Ayrubber, despite finding his passion at an early stage worked timelessly.

Although this didn’t affect him in a bit because he’s able to discover his passion and ride on it as a profession, hence, work seemed like play to him.

Ayrubber flourished in talent management, a position that helps him model a game-changing talent strategy. His clear understanding of the organization’s current and future business strategies.

Identification of the key gaps between the talent in place and the talent required to drive business success earned him the status of Talent Manager for Vskit app (Vskit is a short video sharing platform, video editor & status saver made for Africans).

Even as a bachelor in a society where young adults are bedeviled by get-rich-quick syndrome, Adedoyin believes that there are no shortcuts to the top of the palm tree, but little by little the bird builds its nest.

Ayrubber also worked as a freelance voiceover artist for renowned organizations and heavyweight brands in the communication industry, attributing his accomplishments to hard work, patience, and research.

“What makes me thrive in the market is just majorly trying to know more. I never stopped learning. I do a lot of research and practice. You need to be able to evolve. My name is Adedoyin Ayomide Samuel but people call me Ayrubber, it’s the most popular name.

“Being a voice-over artist entails a lot because you have to know yourself, your voice range, know what you can do, practice. You have to know when your voice needs to stop when it needs a leap, punctuation and how to balance,” Ayrubber said.

Having grown his passion from seed to harvest, Ayrubber pointed out that choosing a career has a big impact on one’s future. It can affect one’s identity, personal fulfillment, lifestyle, income, family, and retirement.

He advised the youths to always venture into their hobbies or activities they like most as a career; because you owe it to yourself to ensure that there’s some part of your day or week when you’re doing what comes most naturally to you and makes you feel at your most centered and authentic.

Ayrubber said: “So, I heard this from VJ Adams, make your passion your profession so that work will become play. If you make your passion your profession and work become play, it will be easy because I fell in love with hearing people talk either through radio, from the music or tv. I tend to pay attention, watch a lot of movies to be able to do public speaking, media or tv or radio perfectly and I put in all the work.”

Adedoyin Ayomide Samuel, on the issue of insecurity, said things are getting better and urged the populace to be watchful and take precautionary steps. He added that we need to work as one to be able to achieve any meaningful result.

“With the level of security right now, I think it’s better now compared to what it used to be but, be alert don’t leave everything for the government. And have a particular time in which you go out or come in. Don’t always be alone. We need to help the less privileged in any way we can to avoid social vices,” said Ayrubber.
