Police pick up NSCDC official for passenger’s killing

Police in Ondo State yesterday arrested an official of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) who allegedly killed a passenger on a motorcyclist on Tuesday night. The NSCDC official, identified as Ifeoluwa, was arrested after a violent protest by members of the Association of Commercial Motorcycle Riders (ACOMORON). World Bank appoints Nigerian into advisory council

The World Bank has appointed Muhammad Abdullahi, Kaduna State Commissioner for Planning and Budget, as a member of its expert advisory council on citizen engagement. The lender noted in a statement that Abdullahi, a development economist, would join five new appointees on the council.
