A 69-year-old woman, Munirat Alao, and her son, Yusuf, were on Wednesday brought before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court for allegedly damaging a fence, valued at N81,000. The accused, who both reside at No. 3 Gbenga Alamu St., Ajasa Command in Alimosho, near Lagos, are facing a two-count charge of conspiracy and wilful damage. A seven-month-old baby, Chinwendu Ekiri, abducted from her parents’ home in Rivers State by a neighhour, has been found after 114 days. Chinwendu’s parents, Emeka and Rejoice Ekiri, alleged that their daughter was abducted by Innocent Ndubuisi, their neighbour.
