Suspected gunmen have abducted a driver of a commercial vehicle travelling along Akure /Ikere Ekiti road. Two persons were killed while three others were hospitalised after suspected hoodlums attacked Iyemero- Ekiti in Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti. Ekiti State Government yesterday unveiled plans to subject rapists to psychiatric tests as well as publish their names and photographs on the Ministry of Justice’s website. Besides, it said convicted rapists would be excluded from governor’s prerogative of mercy. Ekiti State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja on Monday upheld the election of Kayode Fayemi as Governor of Ekiti State.
