      Amidst protests and violence, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the November 16, 2019 governorship election in Bayelsa State, Senator Diri Douye, and his running mate in the poll, Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, were yesterday sworn-in as the governor and the Deputy Governor of the state respectively.
