Katsina: Gunmen kidnap Buhari’s district head

Armed men yesterday abducted Alhaji Musa Umar, the district head of Daura (Magajin Garin Daura), the hometown of President Muhammadu Buhari in Katsina State. Police apprehend notorious kidnapper in Katsina

The Katsina State Police Command says it has apprehended a suspected kidnapper, Ibrahim Muwange, allegedly terrorising communities in four local government areas of the state. The remains of Hindatu Yahaya, a young girl who got married three days before the flood in Jibia town in Katsine, which eventually swept her away, have been recovered in Niger Republi.
