Police arrest 37 kidnappers in Adamawa

About 37 suspected criminals and kidnappers were yesterday paraded by the Adamawa State Police Command for unlawful possession of firearms and armed robbery. A Kano State-based Syrian businessman, Ahmed Abou Areida, was shot dead on Tuesday by suspected kidnappers while his 14-year-old son, Muhammed Abou Araida, was abducted.
