Tribunal reserves judgement in Kogi guber tussle

The Kogi State Election Petitions Tribunal sitting in Abuja, yesterday  reserved judgement in a petition filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its governorship candidate, Engr. Musa Wada, in the November 16, 2019 governorship election in the state. Wada is challenging the victory Governor Yahaya Bello. The three-man panel of the tribunal  headed by Justice Justice Kashim G. Kogi State Police Command has confirmed that it sent a detachment of officers to the house of Sen. Dino Melaye at Aiyetoro-Gbede in Kogi State on Oct. 11 to effect his arrest. Soldiers arrest robbery suspects in Kogi

Troops have arrested a gang of suspected armed robbers from Benue State caught in military uniform in Kogi State. Chief judge of Kogi state, Nasir Ajanah, has granted an interim order for Dino Melaye, a senator representing Kogi west, to be transferred to the National Hospital, Abuja.
