FG plans to fritter N13.5bn through school feeding programme – PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has described the plan by the Federal Government to feed school children when schools are shut due to the coronavirus pandemic, as a “scam”. The party alleged that a whopping sum of N13. 5 billion would be siphoned through the scheme by All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders and some Presidency officials. Two male pupils were killed, while a teacher and a female pupil were injured when Gaji Adamu suspected to madman entered Jafi Primary School Kwaya Kusar of Kwaya local government area of Borno state were macheted.  “He entered a class and began attacking pupils. USAID donates school furniture to vulnerable pupils

An international development partner, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has donated 250 pairs of school furniture (chairs and desks) to orphans and vulnerable children at St. Peter’s and St. Philomena’s Primary School in Buruku and Adogo communities in Benue State.
