Curbing inter-security forces violent clashes

Last week, a soldier and three anti-riot policemen reportedly died during a shootout between members of the two security forces. Several others on both sides received gunshot wounds in the encounter that took place in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital. Two people lost their lives on Monday in an auto crash that occurred at Gbagada Bus Stop, around Anthony area of Lagos state. The police in Ogun State have arrested a 37-year-old man, Ifeanyi Ajaero, for allegedly chaining his wife to a generating set. The suspect was said to have used a handcuff to chain Obiageli, 28, to the generator till day break after he seriously battered her. At least seven people have died and seven others hospitalized in Ngaski Local Government Area of Kebbi State when a boat carrying 150 passengers returning from Malali Market capsized along River Niger.
