Two Lagos jetties to receive N119.8bn fuel from 16 vessels

Sixteen merchant vessels have arrived two Lagos port jetties with 559,721 metric tons of premium motor spirit (PMS) valued at N119.8 billion. The vessels will offload their content at the Atlas Cove Jetty (ACJ) and Single Bouy Mooring (SBM). According to data obtained from the Nigerian Port Authority (NPA)’s shipping position, 12 of the vessels are jostling for berthing space at ACJ, while four will be moored at SBM. Vessels offload N85.5bn PMS at jetties

Twenty-one vessels have offloaded 589,875 metric tons of premium motor spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, valued at N85.53 billion at the retail price of N145 per litre, at Atlas Cove Jetty (ACJ) and other jetties in less than one and half months. Roro vessels flood port with 8,300 vehicles

Nigeria depends on used vehicles to meet local demand As the year is coming to an end, a total of 8,300 used vehicles have been shipped into the nation’s roll-on roll-off port at Tincan Island Port within the last two months.
