Just few weeks after naming Nollywood actors, Nosa Rex Okunzuwa and Seyi Edun were named as Mydsiac’s ambassadors, the brand has taken on another path regarding humanity. Nollywood actor, Nosa Rex Okunzuwa who is best known for movies including Lagos Real Fake Life and fast rising actress, Seyi Edun whose movie credits include Eja Nla Wonuola among others, were announced by the brand. In response to the challenges posed by COVID-19, Tobi Kukoyi, the trending sex and beauty therapist with a heart of gold, has partnered with the YANA Foundation to put smiles on the faces of residents of Apogbon Isale community in Ketu, Lagos.
YANA an acronym for “You are not alone” was founded by Mrs Alafia and is geared towards personal development, mental and emotional health as well as welfare and skills acquisition. Among items donated to members of the community, which craves for total transformation regarding infrastructure, are clothes for children and adults, beddings, curtains, water flasks, to cutleries and coolers.
Others are table mats, cooking pots and other household items, with the residents more than happy to receive the items. On the gesture, the Mydsiac boss, Tobi Kukoyi stated: “I love helping the less Privileged and I saw this as an opportunity to reach out and support them. YANA foundatin is an NGO that I’m proud of its acts of generosity to humanity. I feel great being a part of this and helping those in need. It truly is a beautiful experience helping the needy.”
